Origins, briefly
Product, Briefly was crafted to help more people elevate their abilities to reach their ambitions. It was built upon the toolkit used by great teams to build game-changing products.
Helping more people build better Products
Great products are rare, mediocre products are everywhere, and promising products sometimes explode before launch. We can do better.
Hi, I’m R. Colin Kennedy and since the mid-2000s I’ve built products and ventures spanning business services, enterprise technology, connected devices & consumer electronics, and clean energy.
Throughout, I’ve always sought to find ways to put my experience to use raising the game of those around me, whether it’s the teams I’ve hired, fellow members of a startup community, Founders I advise, or accelerator programs I’ve run. The fastest path I’ve found to doing this one-page briefs: making them impossible not to read, easy to discuss, and too good not to share. If there’s something valuable that I’ve had to discuss thrice, I’ve made a one-pager.
The result is that I’ve captured these learnings into a set of methods that work for teams from Silicon Valley to MIT and beyond. Here, you’ll find this work, and more to come. All of it packaged to make it easy for you to use right away.
